Classical Continuoso
I cannot say when my first experience with classical was: my mother was a trained classical pianist. I grew up hearing the great piano literature played in our house. Though my own talents lay in other directions (to my dismay, I cannot play a note), I found that classical music was an inextricable part of my life. When, later, my daughter was born, I hoped that she would be musical, but her talents and interests took her to art. However, my love of classical music has passed to her. We listen to the piano works of Beethoven, Liszt and Chopin together (Richter & Angerich mostly) and like me, she loves serial and tonal music. There is no better feeling than when my child comes into my office to hear some music I'm playing and says "That's neat, Dad."
