My first encounter of classical music
I am always fascinated by classical music but I was never knew how and where to start. On a warm afternoon I put my thought into action and headed for the classics section of a CD store and pick up an album randomly. It was Ziberstein’s Rachmaninov’s Piano Concertos No. 2 and 3 (with Abbado as conductor and played by Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra). Once I put my CD into my hi-fi, I was led into a journey of music. The depth of melancholy of the second concerto and exhilarating passages of the third concerto truly conquered me. I found myself fell in love with the music of Rachmaninov. Then I just simply headed for the CD store for more classics albums and started my life of classical music.
